World Horse Welfare Launches ‘Rehome a Horse Month’

Launched today, the ‘Rehome a Horse Month’ takes place throughout April across the country and gives the public a chance to offer horses a loving home and make space for the ones in desperate need of help.

“We are trying to do all that we can to encourage people to rehome a horse, and make it as desirable and easy for them and the horse as possible. We not only rehome horses that are fit to compete, we rehome horses as companions, this also includes smaller companion horses that we don’t have riders for, and have just started to offer rehoming for our youngsters that haven’t been backed for riding, so that re-homers can break them in themselves.”
