Horsebox On It’s Last Legs?

Each year in the UK up to two million vehicles become waste. These end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) may have a serious impact on the environment.

Unlike your car, which is used on a daily basis, horseboxes by their very nature are prone to deteriorate. The fact they are stored for long periods of time, usually exposed to the elements, can be the cause of many unforeseen and possibly costly problems. Horseboxes, like horses (and riders!) need to be used regularly to keep everything working smoothly. So, what happens if your horsebox is getting on in years and the elements have taken their toll? You must weigh up whether to have it repaired, sell it, or scrap it.
