Planning is an essential part of running an event horse, particularly with set aims or goals in mind for the season. Horses that you see year in year out eventing is not just through luck, they have had carefully planned programmes with the best suited events and ground for that particular horse. Let alone vet checks, being carefully shod, fed, supplements etc. It’s often a large team of people that all play a part in looking after just one horse!
