Every owner wants their horse’s skin and coat to look as good as their horse feels. Hours of effort spent grooming and bathing will hopefully keep your horse’s skin in tip-top condition, but being a complex organ, skin diseases are common. Frustratingly, these conditions can also be difficult to diagnose and treat – there is often no ‘quick fix’ and the best management requires a team effort from both owner and veterinary surgeon.
